How should we prepare?


Don't worry at all! I will send you a detailed prep and style guide to help you and your teen select outfits that feel authentic to them and help them shine on camera. You can send me mirror selfie phone images for personalized feedback on which outfits will work best.



what if the weather is bad?



If it looks like rain is in the forecast we'll talk about rescheduling to another date, finding a studio space, or in-home session options.

what will be the location for our photo shoot?


Mountains, lakes, rivers, fields of wildflowers or tall grasses. We are blessed with so many gorgeous locations in the Pac NW!  I'll help you find the perfect location for your session. Whether it's at your home, a scenic outdoor location, or a venue of your choice, I'm open to capturing your portraits in a place that holds meaning to you.

How long does a typical photo session last?


The duration of a photo session varies depending on the type and scope of the project. Senior portrait sessions typically range from 1.5 to 2 hours. I strive to provide ample time to capture all the important moments and ensure you feel relaxed and comfortable throughout the session.

How long does it take to receive the final edited photos?


I know you're excited to see your final photos! I'll send a sneak peek within a few days. My editing process typically takes 1-2 weeks, depending on the volume of images and the complexity of skin retouching required. I prioritize quality and attention to detail to deliver exceptional images that exceed your expectations.

what if we have a tight yearbook deadline?


I know sometimes these things sneak up on you and I will do my best to accommodate any tight deadlines. There may be a rush fee involved if the delivery time is less than 1 week from the session. In extreme cases, I have often done a quick yearbook mini session and then held the main portrait session at a later date if the weather was unfavorable for an extended time.
